Declaring confidently that he would not lose his individuality if he continuously starred in his brother’s directorial ventures, Jeyam Ravi insists that the comments made in this regard are ridiculous. The star’s latest outing Santhosh Subramaniam, which was also directed by his brother Raja, turned out to be mega grosser. Now the duo has shifted focus on Peraanmai
Speaking of Peraanmai, Ravi said that the project requires him to slim down and he has been working on it tediously. He also disclosed that Peraanmai will deviate from his style of films, which are comedy-oriented with family sentiments, and is sure to create a social impact. Confirming the reports that he would don the director’s cap soon, Ravi said that he would try to convince his brother Raja to smear the greasepaint for his ventures. Another interesting bit of news about Peraanmai is that an elephant that is playing a vital role in the film gets a salary of about Rs. 25,000 in addition to the transportation and food expenses!
