Billa - Makes all a star

The first big budget remake film, Billa, has broken the impression skeptics and cynics had on remakes making it big in Tamil. It is no doubt a runaway success and has reinstated Ajith as a star even more firmly among audiences. Vishnuvardhan’s Billa was talked about for its slick and stylish looks and has been instrumental in changing the course of many actors’ careers.

He did so for Arya and Pooja in Pattiyal. Even the already popular Nayanthara is getting offers from across the country for her chic looks. However, this time, it is veteran actor Prabhu’s turn, whose performance as the DSP was appreciated by one and all. He has now become a hot property among directors who desire to cast him in pivotal characters in their films.Silambarasan, busy with the shooting of Silambattam, is trying hard to rope in Prabhu for an important character in his film. When questioned on this, he said that the character is a very significant one and that his presence would give it more grace. Isn’t that what you call second lease of life?
